Today I am home without a car because my car is getting serviced. When Chris gets home we will go pick it up and everything will back to normal. On days like this I am reminded of a few things that I am thankful for.
1) I am thankful that we have two paid-for cars.
2) I am thankful for days without my car so that I can appreciate my car that much more.
3) I am thankful for days at home because I get so much done around the house and so much playtime with Caleb.
4) I am thankful I have such a hard-working husband who allows me to stay home with our son.
5) I am thankful for these slower days because I can have an extra long, in depth devotional time.
6) I am thankful for all the faithful ladies in the blogosphere who make this big world feel a lot smaller.

Sarah, this is a great list. When you are without something you use everyday you are reminded what a blessing it is!!!
Have a great day.
Thanks for your list.
Great list. When we go without, then we appreciate, but there are blessings in the midst of the drought, right?
Good perspective about not having the car and making your realize how much more you appreciate it - it seems to be that way with most things. Hope you are enjoying the GA weather. It's been rainy up near where I am, near Atlanta, but today is beautiful with lots of clouds.
And I guess we can still be friends - my husband went to GA Tech! :)
Sometimes we take for granted having 2 vehicles. Thanks for sharing. You are blessed to be able to stay home with your son. Have a great day.
I find that a car is something I really take for granted . . . until something happens to it! Glad you are having a great time with Caleb and all will be normal soon.
